Happy Mothers Day&Happy I Want to be a Mommy Day

Alot of this is a repost from last years "happy I wanna be a mothers day" post. I feel like alot of that post still rains true and always will. 

Things that have changed, today is not a hard morhers day for me. Rather a day of feeling blessed, humbled and thankful beyond what any words can describe. 

Ive republished most of the post from last yr, the pics from last yr and some new ones of those in my life who are mommies & set an amazing example of being a mother, and others are those of who want to be mommies.  I dont have pics on my new phone of all Id like to include, sorry there are not pics of everyone.

"First let me say how thankful and blessed I am for all of the moms in my life. I truely feel like I was raised by a village of people that involved numerous moms! I feel so blessed and am greatful for all of the women who raised me, guide me currently and and the amazing examples of motherhood I have in my life! 

Instead of having a pity party, after talking to a close friend...weve decided to add a second name to Mother's Day. It will now also be referred to as "Happy I want to be a mommy day". 

This secondary name refers to those of us who want to be a mommy, but arent for various reasons. I know tons of woman who have been unable to conceive for numerous reasons, who conceive but cant carry to term, dont have a partner yet to conceive with, etc...but we all have this innate and intense desire to be a mom! 

Im not trying to take away a "special day" from moms---but every day should be special to moms, cuz they r moms! Im simply trying to acknowledge those of us who long to have that day were we will be called "mom"!!!

So, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in my life and Happy I Want to be a Mommy Day to all the women in my life desiring to be a mommy!"
